Calgary will see several bylaw, fee changes this April

Gas prices in Calgary are expected to drop due to the elimination of the consumer carbon tax, while wine prices will increase by 5% to 15% depending on the price range. New bylaws will allow RV owners to park on the street for up to three days and impose stricter regulations on short-term rentals, including licensing and fees. Additionally, monthly blue bin fees for recycling will decrease significantly as the city transitions to an extended producer responsibility system, reducing costs from $9.34 to $2.17.
